The Gary Player Country Club

The Gary Player Country Club golf course is part of the huge Sun City entertainment complex and borders the - also Gary Player-designed - Lost City golf course and the Pilanesberg National Park. The course lies amidst beautiful nature and is regarded as one of the best in the world. Stretching over more than 7000 metres, it definitely is one of the world’s longest golf courses

Champagne Sports Resort

Nestled within this spectacular leisure, conference and time-share resort is the magnificent clubhouse, which overlooks a hidden golfing masterpiece. The top 30 ranked championship golf course has been rated as SA's most beautiful golf course in recent years with the clubhouse rated in the top 5 19th's holes in SA. The clubhouse is easily accessible from the resort and you have access to motorized golf carts and a well-stocked Pro-Shop. The clubhouse has both ladies and gents change rooms which are fully equipped with showers, hand basins, toilets and secure lockers. A well-stocked Pro-Shop provides for all your golfing needs including a selection of clubs, balls, gloves, shirts, hats and caps, as well as other golf paraphernalia. The halfway house offers a selection of light meals and drinks which can be enjoyed either in the indoor dining area or on the deck. Golf Course THE GREENS: All the Greens are of the highest quality and are planted with L93 bent-grass which have proven extremely suitable for the region, particularly in winter where the greens remain 'green', receptive and true to line. THE BUNKERS: The 84 well-appointed and well-shaped bunkers that line fairways and greens all have white silica sand and will be appreciated by professional and novice alike for their consistency. THE FAIRWAYS: The fairways are all planted with kikuyu grass presenting a wonderful green carpet, further enhancing the beauty of this truly unique Championship Golf Course. THE ROUGH: Whilst badly misdirected shots will be punished, particularly in the wetlands and at the water holes, fairways are wide and bordered by light rough.

Durban Country Club

A course steeped in tradition and history, Durban Country Club boasts the unique claim of being the only course on the African continent to be rated in the Top 100 Golf Courses of the World by Golf Magazine USA and is rated in the top 11 in South Africa by Golf Digest SA. A combination of lush vegetation, sand dunes and stunning views of the Indian Ocean make this course one of the most unique, and challenging, in all the world. One of the defining characteristics of Durban Country Club are the massive undulations in the fairways, especially the 5th, 8th and 17th. The course was built on sand dunes and they are large and interesting. The par five third hole is rated the best third in the world. Playing from a high tee to a narrow fairway with dense bush and a predatory bunker on the left hand side you’ll see why this is the most popular hole on the course.

Leopard Creek

Innovative architectural and landscaping techniques ensure that the Leopard Creek golf course and living areas are naturally protected from animals, while lakes and small streams have been diverted through the development to create scenic vistas and interesting golf strategies. Golfing hazards take on a new dimension at Leopard Creek, for much of the water is home to the magnificent creatures for which the river is named, crocodiles. Extensive use has been made of water features and sightings of crocodile, hippo, antelope, buffalo and elephant are commonplace, on the course or in the Kruger Park bordering the course. The 505 meter par-five 13th is one of Leopard Creek’s most memorable holes. Here the green is right on the edge of the Crocodile River but 32 meters above the level of the water, offering magnificent views up the river and into the Kruger Park.
